Privacy and your job media.

Information used

The studio processes account email, business branding and phone number, job descriptions, source photos and clips, approved facts, payment references, job status, and generated content. Do not upload homeowner names, precise street addresses, private contact details, or media you lack permission to use.

Service providers

Supabase provides authentication, database, and private media storage. Vercel hosts the application, processing functions, and AI gateway. OpenAI analyzes supplied media and facts, plans scripts, generates requested roof concepts, and can provide narration and transcription. ElevenLabs narration is supported when configured. Stripe handles payment details; RoofingReels does not store full payment-card numbers. Providers may retain data under their own service and security policies.

Private by default

Account access is authenticated. Original uploads and exports use private storage and expiring access links. A public project link is created only when a contractor chooses to share a completed project. Shared pages contain outputs and selected public company/job information, not the original upload collection.

Homeowner inquiries

A shared project may include a request form. When you submit it, the contractor receives your name, email, optional phone and city, and your message in a private inquiry inbox. The form records your permission to be contacted about that project. It does not subscribe you to unrelated marketing. Inquiries are retained for up to 90 days and the contractor can delete them sooner. Contact the contractor directly for urgent or time-sensitive requests.

Retention and deletion

Job files are retained for 30 days and then subject to automated deletion. Contractors can delete inactive jobs and revoke share links from the studio. Deleting a job cannot remove copies previously downloaded by others. Payment and credit-ledger records may be retained separately for accounting, fraud prevention, and transaction reconciliation.

Authentication and contact

Necessary authentication cookies keep you signed in. Invitations verify email ownership before account setup. Password recovery is available at /reset. Do not share login credentials or private upload/download links.
